Our Ingredients and their Benefits

Base Ingredients - 

Oat Flour:  Our oat flour is gluten-free. A better alternative to Whole Wheat Flour which can cause many dietary and physical problems for dogs.

Brown Rice Flour: is an excellent source of manganese, and a good source of selenium, phosphorus, copper, magnesium, and niacin (vitamin B3). It is also rich in fiber and protein. 

Coconut Flour: is fiber rich and highly absorbent. We use this flour for our Grain Free treatz.

Flaxseed: is a good source of omega-3 fatty acids, which are essential fatty acids that are good for skin and coat. 

Oatmeal(Oats): are considered a nervine, an herbal compound that acts as a general nerve tonic, calming the nerves when necessary, stimulating their activity when needed.

Coconut Oil: Gently elevates the metabolism, provides a higher level of energy and vitality, protects your dog from illness, and speeds healing. As a bonus,coconut oil can improve dog's skin and coat, improves digestion, and reduces allergic reactions.

Cinnamon: has anti-inflammatory properties as well as the ability to slow or stop bacteria growth. For older or obese/overweight dogs who are at risk of contracting diabetes, as little as a half a teaspoon of cinnamon a day can help regulate blood sugar and raise insulin resistance.

Eggs: are a great source of protein, riboflavin, and selenium. For some dogs that are prone to digestive upset, eggs can give them a little protein boost. 

Parsley: Often added to dog treats as a breath freshener or used to soothe the stomach, parsley has a long history of use with dogs.

Apple Cider Vinegar:  Apple cider vinegar is an excellent supplement for your dog's diet. Improve digestive health, keeps fleas at bay, can clear up skin and ear infections. Great for skin and coat. We use this as a natural preservative to our treats.

Flavor Ingredients-

Sweet Potatoes: is a source of dietary fiber and contains vitamin B6, vitamin C, beta carotene, and manganese. 

Pumpkin: is a good source of fiber and beta carotene

(a source of vitamin A). Dogs need fiber in their diet.

Carrots:  Vitamin A is a healthy dog vitamin. Helps with regularity in curing constipation and benefits of fiber. Low in fat and calories. Improves your dog's coat color and eyesight.

Apples: are wonderful crunchy treats for your dog. They are a source of vitamins A and C and fiber.  

Bananas: are a good source of potassium, manganese, vitamin B6, vitamin C, fiber, biotin and copper. Bananas are low in sodium and cholesterol due to the sugar content in bananas.

Peanut Butter:  A favorite treat of many dogs. Good source of protein, and it also contains heart healthy fats, vitamin B, niacin, and vitamin E.

Cranberries, Raspberries & Blueberries: Cranberry is a natural cleanser for dogs with urinary problems. Raspberries are also rich with B vitamins, copper, folic acid, and magnesium. The fiber found in raspberries is great for overweight dogs because it helps them feel full on smaller amounts of food and less calories. All the antioxidants, fiber and phytochemicals blueberries boast provide the same benefits for your dog's body that they give yours.

Organic Broth: is rich in many nutrients, especially amino acids such as arginine, glycine, glutamine and proline. Bone broth also acts as a superior joint supplement, as it contains gelatin (the breakdown of collagen), glucosamine, chondroitin and other nutrients that support good joint health. Our broth also includes Organic Carrots, Organic Celery, Organic Unfiltered Apple Cider Vinegar, Organic Parsley, Organic Cilantro, Organic Ginger and Organic Turmeric.  We use Beef, Chicken and Turkey broth flavors.

Frosting Ingredients - 

Carob: is a dog-friendly substitute for chocolate. With all the same great sweet richness that makes chocolate a delight to eat, carob is made from the bean pods of the carob tree. It is 100% natural and 100% healthy for dogs and even gives them some pretty great health benefits.

Low Fat Yogurt: is a good source of available calcium and protein.

Honey: provides numerous sources of nutrients, such as vitamins A, B complex, C, D, E and K, plus minerals such as calcium, magnesium, and more. Helps dogs with allergies, fights infections, and helps with digestive problems.​
